A Martindale Abrasion Tester is a unique Instrument suitable for determination of the abrasion & Pilling resistance of all knitted, woven, non-woven, Leather, and Coated Fabrics. It is an instrument used for quantifying the abrasion resistance of textiles, especially when used for upholstery. The Martindale method is also known as the Martindale rub count test. The results of the test show how much wear and tear your fabric will take before there is a noticeable change in its appearance.
